'Amethyst' Astilbe produces feathery plumes of soft mauve-lilac flowers above lush dark green foliage in early to midsummer. Growing up to 31 inches tall, it thrives in moist, partially shaded locations and adds elegant color and texture to woodland gardens and shaded borders.
